Responsibilities:

• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers

• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules

• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges

• Integration of data storage solutions like database

• Participate in Front-end design discussions and implementation

• Create high level work break downs and estimates

• Act as a primary point of contact for development work with other teams

• Leading a team of web application developers and inculcating a strong sense of ownership and responsibility for code quality that follows best practices

• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical teams

• Identify risks and corrective actions with the project related milestones

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Java

• Understanding the fully synchronous behaviour of JAVA

• Understanding of MVC design patterns

• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

• Knowledge of object oriented JAVA programming

• Understanding accessibility and security compliance

• Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions

• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments

• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system

• Familiarity with limitations of JAVA as a platform and its workarounds

• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes

• Familiarity with SQL/MySQL databases and their declarative query languages

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

• Integration of third party API's

• Knowledge of working on Backend API's

• Bachelors in computer science or relevant field (B.E) with 3 to 4 years of experience
